Zesty Pretzels

Spread the love
Need another snack that you just can’t stay out of?  If the answer is yes, read ahead.  If the answer is no, skip to the next post.  Just kidding!  These pretzels are so good and have just enough spice to them that it makes you want to keep eating them.  I have made a similar recipe before but this has the added spice of Montreal seasoning and it really makes them so much better.  You can use pretzel sticks, mini pretzels or even pretzel nuggets.   This would make a great treat to put in a cute bag or container for holiday gifts.  We took them to a halloween party and, of course, we added them to our tailgate menu.

Zesty Pretzels
Printable Recipe Here

4 (10oz) packages of butter flavored pretzel twists
3/4 cup canola oil
3/4 cup butter flavored popcorn oil (found by the popcorn at the store)
4 envelopes ranch dressing mix
2 tablespoons Montreal Steak Seasoning
2-3 teaspoons cayenne pepper (depending on how hot you want to make them)
1 teaspoon dill weed

Mix the above and pour on pretzels – I use a paper bag to shake them in but the recipe says to put in a large bowl.

Place pretzels in two ungreased 15-in x 10-in jelly roll pans.  Bake at 250° for 50-60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.  Cool and place in an airtight container.

This is an easy recipe to adjust to a smaller batch.

Enjoy!
