I’m baaaaaack!!!! Yep, I know it’s been awhile. Is my absence more acceptable if I tell you that over the summer I was gallivanting across Europe, then entertaining my family for awhile here at home and then spent the remainder of summer enjoying our favorite beaches here in Southwest Michigan? Well, that is what’s been going on around here, its been enjoyable and exciting, for sure, but I’m kinda glad to be back to my regularly scheduled programming 😉
When my sister arrived in June, she brought with her a container of this snack mix. My 7 year old couldn’t keep her hands out of it…every time she walked by, she snagged a handful. I must admit it is pretty irresistible. My sister got the recipe from her friend and then I changed it just slightly again. This party mix makes a terrific beach, road trip or game day snack.
I love that this is super easy to make ahead of time and have ready to take anywhere you like, it’s a really great, crowd pleasing snack. Get the kids involved by letting them stir together the crackers and seasoning before you add the oil.

Spicy Cheez Its Party Mix
Ingredients
2 boxes CHEEZ ITS CLASSIC SNACK MIX
1 box CHEEZ ITS CRACKERS
2-3 packets SPICY RANCH DRESSING MIX*
1 cup CANOLA OIL
Instructions
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
In a large bowl, stir snack mix and crackers together. Add dressing mix and stir well. Add oil and stir to make sure everything is evenly coated.
Spread mixture evenly on a baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through baking time. Cool completely and store in an air tight container.
Notes
*3 packets of dressing mix makes it extra zesty, I think next time I would only use 2.
