Milk Chocolate Toffee Brownies

Spread the love

*This post was previously shared with the readers at Something Swanky.
One thing that my husband and I can always agree on is brownies.  He’s not a cake lover, but he’ll always go for a warm, fudgy brownie.  So, imagine my excitement when Food Network magazine’s March issue came out – the entire issue dedicated to chocolate.  There was an insert booklet with 50 variations on the fabulous brownie.  I’ve only read through said booklet about 4 times.  It inspired me to create this version – milk chocolate toffee.

They aren’t your usual deep, dark brownie.  The chocolate flavor is milder and giving the chopped up Heath bars room the shine.  They are delicious warm, at room temperature or topped with ice cream, toffee bits and chocolate syrup!
One thing I loved about this recipe is that all the mixing happens in one saucepan.  If you line your baking pan with foil, that’s an added bonus with one less pan to wash.  Less dishes to do = one happy mama.
