Fall Party Fun & a Kraft Spooktacular Giveaway!

October 16, 2012 By Becca@CrumbsandChaos

Spread the love

Each fall we set aside an evening to enjoy time with friends and carve pumpkins.  It’s a gathering that my kids look forward to for weeks on end, carefully choosing their pumpkins and asking “when are we going to have the pumpkin party?”  We enjoy time with friends and, of course, there’s plenty of great food.  Last year I posted the menu from our fall party and this year we enjoyed a little help from Kraft.  They sent me a box FULL of things to try and enjoy. My kids go crazy for marshmallows so 3 different kinds had them in heaven!! They also enjoyed making Jell-o Jigglers and cute glow in the dark cups.

We had Pumpkin Chili, Sassy Tailgate Sandwiches, homemade pretzel dogs with beer cheese sauce and a variety of treats.

The thing that has amazed me at previous gatherings is how big a hit the caramel apple dip is!  I decided to use the Philadelphia Indulgence Milk Chocolate Cream Cheese Spread as the bottom layer and topped it with caramel and toffee bits.  I served it with apple slices and biscoff cookies.

All of the marshmallows got me thinking…I whipped out a crazy quick and easy treat – a Halloween Trash Candy, recipe straight from the lovely Aimee at Shugary Sweets.  I ended up with a mix of 3 cups of Jet-Puffed GhostMALLOWS, 2 cups of Pretzels, 1 cup of candy corn, 20 Halloween OREOS (quartered).  Stir all of the together and cover with one package of melted vanilla almond bark.  Spread out to cool and enjoy… it got rave reviews!

Today we are giving away the same prize pack to one of our readers (US residents only). Enter below…
