Planning a warmer weather vacation with Alamo Rent A Car

Here we are, the first day of March.  At my house, there’s still snow on the ground and we’re dreaming of spring and warm weather.  Alamo asked me to create a Pinterest board of my happy place – some place that I would travel to and experience happiness and warmer weather.  I’m sure some of you are dreaming of white sandy beaches and warm ocean air.  Me – not so much, living near Lake Michigan has it’s perks, one being beaches of our very own all summer long.

My Happy Place is in the Great Smoky Mountains – Gatlinburg, Tennessee.  A total tourist town, I know, but a place that I haven’t been a quite awhile and long to visit again.  Taking in the beautiful scenery of the mountains, hiking to breathtaking waterfalls and, of course, hitting up the local shops and restaurants are all things that we would do there.  It would be a family trip – all 6 of us loading up to go, we’d most definitely need a minivan rental from Alamo and then we’d be on our way.  Renting a cabin would give us plenty of space and ensure we make the most of our food and lodging dollars.
