So many delicious dessert combos, so little time…coconut, pecan and chocolate is a crazy favorite of mine.  Cake, cookies and bars are all amazing ways to enjoy this combo, but today’s recipe might take the cake.  German Chocolate Apple Dip is just the right amount of all of those things and it couldn’t be easier to make.

I was excited to see early apples appear at my local farm stand this last week.  A new favorite this year is Pristine, a yellow apple that’s both a little tart and sweet at the same time.  It seems like almost everyone enjoys apples, so making an easy dessert dip to go with the apples on the counter was an obvious choice for our Thursday night dinner with friends.  This dip is also an obvious choice for a variety of fall gatherings – if coconut and pecans aren’t your thing, the list at the end of this post should have something for you while the rest of us enjoy this irresistible dip 😉
