Greek Gyro Fries | Crumbs and Chaos

This easy dinner {Greek Gyro Fries} will be on the table in no time!

One of my favorite parts about traveling is eating all of the food, especially things that we don’t have near where we live.  Awhile back, while visiting my sister, we ordered take out from a little Greek place and one of the things we got were gyro fries…they were so amazing!!  I’ve been thinking since then that they were something I could easily recreate at home, since they include some flavors that I really can’t get enough of.

A flavorful dish like this one, should start with great tasting fries.  I used Alexia Rosemary Fries with Sea Salt which I purchased on at Walmart.  Made with all natural ingredients, I keep them on hand for busy nights when I don’t have a lot of prep time, but want a great tasting side dish.  I also grabbed Alexia Spicy Sweet Potato Fries and Onion Rings while I was there because it is grilling season and they make great sides for burgers and grilled pork.

An easy, weeknight meal that comes together in minutes…

1 – Cook the Alexia Rosemary Fries with Sea Salt according to the package instructions.  Meanwhile, brown ground beef and season.

2 – Top fries with seasoned ground beef.

3 – Add diced cucumber, quartered grape tomatoes, finely diced onion and pitted kalamata olives.

4 – Drizzle with homemade tzatzki sauce and top with crumbled feta.  Devour immediately!

I opted to use ground beef even though it’s not exactly what you would get at a Greek restaurant.  My kids like ground beef and this went over well with them.  They chose the toppings they wanted – I love a meal you can personalize to everyone’s specific tastes!
