Spicy Cranberry Goat Cheese Pinwheels | Crumbs and Chaos

An easy, five ingredient appetizer, Spicy Cranberry Goat Cheese Pinwheels are simple to make and are a delicious addition to any appetizer spread.

Craisins Collage

Growing up, I remember one of my aunt’s bringing tortilla roll ups to holiday dinners.  You know the version with cream cheese, olives and green chiles all spread in a large tortilla, rolled up and cut into bite sized pieces and served with salsa for dipping?  Those are the ones she always made.  I do adore that version, but love today’s variety with the spicy, sweet, slightly tart, tangy middle layer.  It’s a sophisticated upgrade for sure.

I love quick appetizers that can be made from simple pantry staples.  My pantry is almost always stocked with Craisins® Dried Cranberries because they’re a lovely addition to so many things – oatmeal, cookies, hot turkey salad…this list could go on and on.  Today we’re adding Spicy Cranberry Goat Cheese Pinwheels to that list.  These perfectly pop-able bites of goodness couldn’t be easier to make.

Craisins

Craisins® Dried Cranberries come in a variety of sizes to meet your needs – 5 oz, 10 oz. and 24 oz. Value Pack as well as 6 count multipacks that are super for taking on the go.  Craisins® Fruit Clusters are a delicious new way to enjoy Craisins in a fun snack form – they come in Cranberry Granola or Cranberry Almond varieties.  They happen to be really amazing on top of your favorite yogurt!

To make Spicy Cranberry Goat Cheese Pinwheels:

You start by beating together cream cheese and goat cheese.  Measure 1/2 cup Craisins® from the bag {buying the 24 oz. value pack means you’ll have plenty on hand for later} and chop them up a bit.  Toss them in the bowl with the cheese mixture and add chopped jarred jalapenos and mix well.  Spread this mixture onto 4 burrito size tortillas.  Roll them up tightly, at this point you can slice and serve or wrap with plastic wrap and chill before cutting.  Either way you can make them ahead, cover and chill until ready to serve.  How’s that for an easy appetizer that’s full of flavor and a little zing from the Craisins®?
