5 on Friday: School’s out…what’s for breakfast?

February 17, 2012 By Crumbs and Chaos

Spread the love
You may have an extra-long weekend if your children have a school holiday this coming Monday.  So I’ve put together a list of special-school’s-out-today breakfasts.
Biscuits covered in Chocolate Gravy
S’more Pancakes
Ham & Cheese Frittata
Breakfast Pizza
Simple Doughnuts
I know this list is only supposed to be 5, but I can’t help but throwing in a bonus – my favorite Buttermilk Pancakes.  They are out of this world delicious.
What do you make as a special breakfast when your kids are out of school and you have a little more time to make breakfast?

OOOH – I do the same thing. Fix them something I wouldn’t have time for otherwise. Today it’s cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting and an egg ( I need to try that chocolate gravy…

Not many people really bother with breakfast but I always love whipping up something special. Biscuits with chocolate gravy sound perfect for a weekend breakfast!
