5 on Friday: Thanksgiving Sides

November 2, 2012 By Becca@CrumbsandChaos

Spread the love

Happy November…’tis the season for turkey and all of the fixin’s.

If you’re the one planning an entire Thanksgiving menu, now’s the time to get working on that list.  If you’re the one who just has to bring a side or something else…lucky you.

I like turkey, but for me…Thanksgiving is all about what’s sitting next to that turkey.  I’ve got a few super sides to inspire you this week…

Sausage Cornbread Stuffing from Lauren’s Latest

Cranberry Tortellini Salad

Creamy Cheesy Carrot Casserole from Chef In Training

Autumn Chopped Salad

Cinnamon Sugar Hasselback Sweet Potatoes

with Oatmeal Cookie Crumble from How Sweet It Is

Now that I’ve got you drooling…tell me – what is your favorite Thanksgiving side dish?

This makes me hungry already. Beautiful. My favorite Thanksgiving side is Fresh Cranberry Relish with apples, orange finely chopped sweetened with sugar. Beautiful cranberry red on the plate with dressing and turkey! Yum!!

It’s either the stuffing or sweet potatoes….Or the gravy, if it’s homemade. All of these recipes look incredible and I can’t wait for the rest of this feature!
