I got this pumpkin bar recipe from my mother in law. I decided to make them for after trick or treating this year. They were delicious!
You’ll need:
2 C flour
2 t baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
2 t cinnamon
2 C sugar
4 eggs
2 C pumpkin
1 C oil
Mix dry ingredients together. Add eggs, pumpkin and oil. Mix well. Grease and flour 2- 9×13 pans or a 17×12 sheet. Pour into pan. Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool and frost the bars.
Icing:
1- 8oz. pkg. softened cream cheese
1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
2 t milk
2 t vanilla
3 1/2 C powdered sugar
Mix all ingredients well. Spread over cooled bars. Keep refrigerated.
