This is a classic comfort food and after making this recipe last week, I just had to share it. I know there are several different and really good meatloaf recipes out there but this one hit the spot for us this time. We served it with baked potatoes and salad. Delish!

2 lbs. 90% ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
3 cloves of minced garlic
2 eggs
1/4 cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers would work too.
1 T. Lawry’s Seasoning
dash of hot sauce
1 t. chili powder
1/4 c. ketchup
Worcestershire Sauce (didn’t give an amount on recipe so I just put in a splash or two)
Barbecue sauce for topping
Cook onion and pepper in skillet until dry. Set aside to cool.
Combine all of the ingredients besides the barbecue sauce in a bowl and mix with clean hands.
Place in a bread pan.
Heat oven to 350 when ready to bake. Cook for about 1 1/2 or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
When there is 30 minutes left to go, brush barbecue sauce on for a thick glaze.

Let the meatloaf set for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Serve and Enjoy!
