Follow up recipe…

January 6, 2011 By Crumbs and Chaos

Spread the love

Last month for our 12 days of Christmas Emily posted Butterscotch Haystacks.  I recently have made these (several times) and added one thing to the recipe.

I used:
1 package Milk Chocolate Chips
1 package Butterscotch Chips
1 package Chow Mein Noodles

First melt the milk chocolate and butterscotch chips in the microwave until soft.  Then slowly stir in the chow mein noodles until all is covered.  I put wax paper on a cookie sheet and used a tablespoon to scoop out servings.  Then put in fridge for 5-10 minutes or until hard and they’re ready to eat or put in a container for later.  (I don’t keep mine refrigerated but you can.) These sure don’t last long around our house!
