So… you decided to make the Baked Crab Rangoon and bought a package of wonton wrappers. After making them, you have a whole lot of the wonton wrappers left. What are going to do with all of them? Of course you can always make another batch of the Rangoon, but don’t wait too long because the wonton wrappers will go bad. Or you could make the Chocolate Filled Wontons, but if you want a simple treat that is sure to please, try these Wonton Crisps.
I saw this recipe in the May 2010 issue of Everyday Food Magazine. They made them with chopped almonds and served them with greek yogurt, strawberries, and honey. While, I think that sounds delicious, I went for a little different outcome. We served ours with vanilla ice cream sandwiched between them. And later discovered they are really good drizzled with chocolate syrup!
