Kraft Fresh Take Shop Along at Kroger

Fresh Take Opening Collage

Grocery shopping is some that I enjoy and when I get the chance to go all by myself, I really enjoy it that much more.  Part of my Fresh Take challenge is to take you along with me as I go shopping at Kroger for my next challenge meal ingredients.  I have already decided that my meal will include fish and will include raspberries and avocado.  Now you’re curious, aren’t you?

Fresh Take Produce Collage

First stop – the produce section with so many vibrant, fresh choices getting a quick meal on the table shouldn’t be too hard.  Avocados were on sale – score, that’s just what I needed.  It looks like they were a popular item that day.  I’m also grabbing a half spinach/half spring mix to use in my meal.

I’m using my favorite fruit in this challenge – raspberries are a must.  I also grabbed cherry tomatoes, an array of bell peppers and some broccoli just in case.

Fresh Take Fish Collage

My choice of protein for my main dish is fish and Kroger has a wide array of choices.  Today I’m going with tilapia – it’s a family favorite and I’m going to grab an extra bag, just in case.  The fish comes packaged in 1 lb. bags, just the amount I need to use with 1 package of Kraft Fresh Take Cheese and Breadcrumb Mix.

Fresh Take Dairy Collage

Time to pick up the Kraft Fresh Take, my key to creating an easy and flavorful meal is found right in the dairy section.  At this particular Kroger, the Fresh Take was located right above the cream cheese.  Not to worry if you don’t have a Kroger’s Store in your area, Kraft Fresh Take can be found at grocer’s nationwide.  Sometimes it’s right along side the shredded cheese, always in the dairy section.

Fresh Take Cart Collage

Looks like I’m good to go,  I have everything I need from Kroger to create a quick, fresh meal for my family in my second Kraft Fresh Take challenge.  It was a quick, quiet and enjoyable shopping trip – my favorite.  Join me tomorrow to see what I’ve cooked up for my second Kraft Fresh Take challenge.
